Possible storms tonight

According the the National Weather Service, we are in for more storms tonight. I'm not really surprised since the high today is expected to be around 80, and with the moisture already in place and the cold front that is supposed to move in, it's the perfect setup for storms.

I'll be at work when it all hits. This doesn't mean we'll have a slow night. It seems like during the worst weather, people just can't stay away from the drive through! And, if the storm take the power out, we'll get a lot more business unless, of course, our power is out as well.

In the past, during power outages at the store, I've been amazed at the number of people who want food or beverages. We can't serve them. Nothing works when the power is out. Hello? I'm sorry, but we are just as limited as everyone else.

If the power does go out, we have to tell people to leave, lock the doors, and wait for it to come back on as a security measure. We don't serve food. We don't serve beverages. We don't let you stay with us to wait it out.
