Gift shopping time

It's nearly the middle of November already! That means there really aren't that many days until Christmas, and I know I'm not close to ready. I have some ideas about what I want to give to a few people, but sometimes it's so hard to buy for others that I wind up giving gift cards to eateries or gift cards of money so they can select their own gift.

It's not that I don't care. I do. But people generally know what they want or need more than I do and I'd like the gift to be something they really, really want/need.

Sis and Mom create their own Christmas cards that they rarely have to shop for unique Christmas cards or other greeting cards. They are so beautiful that I always consider that to be a big part of the gift. I love handmade things because someone took the time out of their busy lives to create something special.

Now is the time for me to set my mind to creative thinking so I can perhaps create special items for those closest to me. What are your plans?
