Online shopping

Speaking of shopping, I use my debit cards like credit cards so I can get either points or cash back bonuses. Occasionally, such as paying utility bills online, they only run as debit cards. Otherwise, though, when given the choice, I choose the credit option. I might as well get a little benefit from mundane shopping.

I could use cyberpowerpc coupons, which is a secure online shopping site. They tap your bank account directly without need for either debit or credit cards, and they pay you cash back on their thousands of discounted items. I tend to be a shopper who likes a more personal experience, but this could be a way to get a little Christmas shopping done online.

I live pretty far from any shopping places -- about 25 miles or so. It's just not easy for me to justify the gas consumption, not to mention the time lost, driving that far perhaps to come back empty handed. So, I do like to shop online when the possibility arises. I can usually have something shipped to me for less that it would cost me to drive to and from the source, not to mention the fact that I can do the shopping on my laptop while I'm sitting in my living room enjoying a cup of coffee!
