Visiting Mom - Day 2

Sunday was pretty quiet and laid back. Mom and I went outside Sunday morning and looked over the gardens. Mom had received a gift of hand painted stones from another great-niece and her children. They are so cute!

We had lunch of leftovers from Saturday's Shih Tzu birthday party, which were all still very tasty and filling.

Mom and I set up a jigsaw puzzle from a collection of them that Sis has in her closet. We worked on that for almost 2 hours, sorting the border pieces out, getting the border put together, and getting some of the picture pieces in place.

Later, we just vegged for awhile.

I related to them how my Dog had gotten hold of some cranberries out of our compost bucket. Now, Dog likes fruit and I do feed her some apples or cantaloupe from time to time. But cranberries, well, they just didn't agree with her. I read on the internet that dogs can actually have cranberries. Not my pup! She's not getting anymore of those! I wonder if I can Shop tasty hand-dipped berries for dogs online? Maybe with carob or or yogurt on them? I don't know. I think I'll just stick with apple slices and cantaloupe portions.
