New dog, no name

We have acquired another dog. This pup was found by Son, who witnessed some people dropping her off alongside the highway that runs near our house. He didn't get their license plate number to report this activity, but he did pick up the dog. She appears to be mostly beagle and has taken up with us very quickly. She has been running rabbits all over the place around here, but I'm concerned she'll get on the road and be run over.

Son tried tying her up, but she manages to slip the collar every time so we will probably have to invest in some kind of fencing to keep her contained. We'll also need to have her spayed, since puppies are something we just don't need to deal with.

Of course, if she were to have puppies, I suppose I could find some personalized baby gifts for dogs and see if that would entice folks to adopt them. Nah. I think we'll just get her fixed instead.

In the meantime, we need to figure out a good name for her besides "Here, Pup!"
