Elizabeth's connection problems

Elizabeth was wanting to get on the internet while she was here. She had finished her hunter education course, and been told she can go online to download and print the certificate for it so she can get her hunting license. However, our connection was very bad and she never did get it going.

Often, when it's been wet and rainy, our connection is really hard to establish and maintain. How I wish we could get on the wireless connection!

Josh and Elizabeth visited for quite awhile here. They had planned to also do laundry but decided to take it all to the laundramat another day. Josh's grandmother's washer is broke and in the repair shop so they can't wash there as they usually do.

We watched "Iron Giant" while they were here. It's always a funny one to view and now we have the DVD so it's much brighter and clearer. I guess we just like cartoons and animated features a lot, too, since we seem to have so many of them!

Ann, since you like cartoons, you should really watch "Cars". It came out on DVD yesterday. Even my husband watched it with me last night. It is so funny, and has real life lessons in it. All the charactors are cars. Some of the voices are race car drivers and Larry, the cable guy, is the voice for Mator, the wrecker.

I could not even crochet for watching the movie.
