I think it rained the whole day today. It wasn't terribly cold, but the dampness made it pretty miserable, nonetheless.

We were scheduled to work till 7 but wound up leaving at 6 because it just wasn't very busy. I could have used the other hour of pay, but I wasn't real disappointed since I was still tired today even after all the rest I got yesterday. I guess this head cold has me drained.

We got paid Sunday but since we didn't go to town at all that day, we picked up our checks today. I was very surprised and disappointed when there was a deduction from my pay for $153! For some reason, they deducted the whole dental insurance at once instead of the agreed upon $12. My store manager contacted the office who contacted the insurance company. You know - pass the buck. Anyway, I got $120 cash from my store manager as she knew it wasn't correct, and the office will set things to rights in a day or so with the insurance company. I tell ya, that would have been a blow to the ol' budget if it stood!
