Wednesday afternoon

I went to pick Kevin up from work around 1:30 PM. Stopped by the grocery store and got a few things while I was in town - hot dog buns, cole slaw, a bakery cream cake (rocky road), and some chips.

Stopped to get gas in the car, too. Kevin gave me another $5 for gas money and I put $5 with it, so I've got plenty for the next few days now. Just that little that Kevin gives for gas helps a whole lot in this car.

I decided to have smoked sausage simmered in barbecue sauce for supper and wanted the fill-ins to go with them. They turned out delicious, which is more than I can say for the cole slaw I got. It was awful. Next time, I'll just get shredded cabbage and put my own dressing in it. But everything else was really tasty and the boys both ate heartily.
