Fishing technology

I don't know about anyone else, but when I've gone fishing all I've needed is a rod-n-reel, some bait, and some extra hooks and bobbers. Then I sit on the pond, stream, river, or lake bank. I cast and reel in, cast and reel in, and mostly just drown worms more than actually catch fish.

But I suppose if I were an avid deep sea fisherman (or should that be the PC fisherperson?), I'd want the latest equipment with me to ensure a safe and successful fishing adventure. You can get all sorts of modern technology aimed at fishermen at Northeast Marine Electronics. Just think about it - depth finders, fish finders, Chartplotters, gps systems, radar....so much that the fish barely have a fighting chance at not getting caught! You can even get instructional videos, just in case there's even more you'd like to learn about concerning deep sea fishing.

Whether you're a hobby fisherman or a commercial fisherman, if you can't find all the latest tools for catching fish here, then I daresay you just aren't looking. I'm not a dyed-in-the-wool fisherman, but I'm just enough a geek to like some of this stuff.
