Happy New Year
Tomorrow is the first day of 2007. Do you have any plans for tonight? Do you have plans for the new year? Better yet, do you have eternal plans in place?
The years come and go until we're called home. "Home" is not heaven for everyone. But that's certainly where I want to go, and will go, when I go. Until then, my purpose in this life is to honor God and glorify Him in all I do.
I know so many times I fall short of that, but I'm thankful He's a God of mercy and of second chances. Even third or fourth or beyond chances. He's been alongside me when I began to feel alone. He's given me strength to overcome obstacles this past year, and I am confident He will do the same in the year to come.
