Hitting the books
I feel like a schoolgirl again, only not so young and perky. I'm studying Basic Shift Management and it's a grind for me. It's been a lot of long years since I went to school, but at least this is like homeschooling for me. I have the materials here and I study them according to my own schedule. The main thing is to get finished before January, when I go to the BSM classes for 3 days.
They'll be in Little Rock which means driving down there every day. Not only that, but the others who are also doing this will probably have to ride with me since I'm the only one there who has a regular car. Others have Jeeps, pickup trucks, or their vehicle just isn't trustworthy. We'll have to meet and ride together.
It's an awesome responsibility to have the safety of others in your hands while traveling like that. Plus, I just really hate driving in Little Rock. I hope they give me some real good, simple directions for getting to the place.
Anyway, I'm trying to get all the reading done and fill in the pages that need filling in. I hope some of it is sinking into my brain, too. There's so much information to learn.
