Oven problems

I think my old stove is on a downhill slide. I tried to make cornbread yesterday to go with the blackeyed peas and the oven wouldn't stay lit long enough to bake the cornbread. Ugh. I did NOT want to have to replace my stove but it looks like there's really no choice if I want to cook things.

So now, in addition to needing a new sofa, I need a new stove. Guess I better tighten the proverbial belt and start saving my money for both since they are both desperately needed now.
