Again with the house hunt!

Ok. I found out from Brandon that our GM at McDonald's has a house in town that's currently under lease but the lease expires in two months. Because she doesn't like what the renters have done in the house, she's not up for renewing from them. (They are former McD employees and she let them lease it because she thought they'd do better.)

Anyway, the monthly amount is doable for us - under $600. The house being in town means we can get cable internet and the utilities in that town are historically low for the area. Both are huge pluses. We would only be 15 minutes from work. Another plus. And it's 3 bedrooms - HUGE plus. It has an enclosed garage so we can park the car inside and possibly use part of it for storage.

Have I seen the house? Not yet. I'd like to drive by it, at least. I trust the GM's word but I'd like to know the exact location so I can frame up some plans in my mind about all this.

Moving is a huge pain in the other side of my lap, but I think it's time. The GM knows we have Sassy and since she also has a little dog, that's not a problem. It looks like this could be the place at least until I can see my way clear to buy something of my own.
