Pleasant days

We've had rather pleasant weather lately. Pleasant enough to bring out a few moths and flies, and even the tree frogs are singing at night. All for naught, though, since it's predicted to get cold again over the next few days. Still, this spring-like weather is certainly enjoyable while it lasts.

This kind of weather makes me want to go out and dig in the dirt. I won't be able to do that this year as much as I'd like to, though. Work and other obligations will keep me from doing very much gardening. If I can at all, though, I'll still plant some herbs. There's nothing better than home grown basil and other herbs for giving life to everyday recipes.
