Lost and found
Hardly a day goes by at work when we don't find things people have left behind. We've found wallets, purses, medical jewelry, car keys, school books - you name it, someone has left it somewhere in the restaurant.
Car keys are usually claimed right away because the person can't leave without them. Other things, though, are sometimes not claimed for days. We have school books that were left by students that were never claimed at all! I suppose the parents wound up paying for them since these are from the public school that's nearby.
We even have a backpack and jackets in the crew room that no one bothered to ask for. I don't know if they forgot they ever owned them or forgot just where they left them, but all they have to do is ask and we'll fetch the stuff out to them.
A few years ago, Brandon left a cap there that had his Beta Club pin on it. We asked, but it wasn't there at the time. I suppose some other customer walked out with it. That was before he started working there, of course.
