Finally, a day off

Last night made 10 straight days I've worked. This is very unusual for McDonald's, but with the opening of the new store and not enough people hired on to work in it, we've all had lots of extra days and hours to work.

I have today off, though, finally. This means I should be able to really get a lot packed and into storage.

The house situation is still up in the air and probably won't be completely done for at least another week. I'm thinking we should get one of those pay-by-the-week efficiency apartments in town until it's all finally settled about the house. Right now, that's the only solution I can come up with. I'll probably have to let my dog stay with my daughter, too. I won't be able to take her to the efficiency apartment.
