Taking Brandon out
I was very disappointed that I couldn't take Brandon out for his birthday on Thursday night. That was the night I wound up having to stay over in another city for work. However, I did get to take him out Friday night.
We went to Ruby Tuesdays. It's very popular here and we had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seated. The service was good and so was the food, although there was too much on the plates to actually eat it all. I had a tilapia dinner with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli.
Elizabeth and her boyfriend came with us, and afterward we went shopping at Walmart. E wanted to get some groceries that would fit into her Weight Watchers diet plan, so she loaded up on fruits, veggies, and some canned low fat soups and diet sodas. I think so far she has lost about 11 pounds, and it does show in the way her clothes are fitting now.

I had that tilapia at Applebees two times recently and it was WONDERFUL! And the broccoli was just steamed perfect! Yummm! How old was Brandon?
