Late summer travel

I've heard from my supervisor that Son and I may be sent to Louisiana late this summer or early next fall for a week of training. I remember when our general manager went a few years ago. She was pretty excited when she got back. She had learned a lot and had fun while she was there. I'm really looking forward to it. I figure we'll just drive down there since it's really not that far of a drive for us.

Probably the only thing I will be nervous about will be the likelihood of hurricanes during the time of year when we're supposed to go. It's either late August or early September, which sort of makes me wish they were sending us to California to stay in a San Diego hotel instead! Our supervisor said she could schedule some of our vacation days so that we could actually stay a couple of days longer. I'm thinking the time already scheduled will be plenty long enough.
