New lease on life
I am certainly glad to be able to get online again, even if it's just for a couple of hours a day. I really missed it! And I don't think I realized how much that long drive to work was taking out of me until I didn't have to do it anymore. I spent close to three hours a day just driving back and forth. Add that to working anywhere from 7 to 9 hours at a stretch and that doesn't leave much time or energy for doing anything else.
It almost feels strange to be able to come home, sit down to supper (or lunch if I don't go in until the closing shift), watch a movie or work a crossword puzzle, and play around on the computer. Strange, yes, but good nonetheless.
I'm really hoping I can connect with some of my old online friends once again, too.
One of the biggest pluses is being able to read Sis' blog again everyday and keep up with what's going on in her neck of the woods.
I'm also happy that I will be able to spend some time on my favorite hobbies, and possibly make a small garden, too. I need these things in my life so I can feel like "me" again.
