Exercise
One more load of laundry to hang out and I'll be done. I think it will be dry before dark. I've already brought in the first load (bedding). Hanging out clothes on a sunny, breezy day like this makes them dry even faster than using a dryer.
One thing is for sure: I get some good fresh air and exercise by hanging out my laundry. This kind of exercise works as good as any weight loss pill to keep my appetite down and burn fat, too. Since I'm already exercising portion control to try to drop some pounds, this is an added benefit.
With high blood pressure, I really do need to drop some weight and get more deliberate movement into my daily routine. I'm on my feet a lot and walking at work, but after awhile something like that seems to not have the effect you'd think it would. I suppose because your body gets used to it. So, throwing in some new or different activity helps to kick start the metabolism and shed pounds.
