Oh my aching feet
Son has been pretty sick for the last few days so I covered his shifts for him. That meant I worked more days in a row than I was originally scheduled for, and also meant that I was really exhausted by last night at closing. My back hurt. My legs and hips hurt. My feet hurt. This morning I could barely walk to the kitchen to make coffee, I was aching so much.
Maybe it's just my shoes causing all that. I don't know. I got some of the non-slip shoes because that's what's required at work. Now I'm wondering if Dansko might have some that would give me more support and help me not be so achy at the end of my shift.
Well, at least I've got today and tomorrow off, so I should feel a lot better by the time I work again on Tuesday.

Oh, Ann, I know how that must be. My 27yo dd, Stephanie, is waitressing and it's just killing her when she has to work 3 days in a row! She and 21yo, B.Kay, are both working at same place. When Trinity starts kindergarten this fall, Steph plans to get an office job. B.Kay is ready to try to get on at a pharmacy to train as a pharmacy tech. They used to get great tips, but seldom do any more. Sorry Brandon was sick. Glad you're posting to your blog again. I have missed you!

So glad to hear from you! Yes, working on your feet can be a killer sometimes. Brandon is feeling better and went to work today, but still isn't completely over whatever it is he caught.
