Sunday and Monday off

I was off work Sunday and Monday so I've had some restful time.

Of course, there's always housework to be done. When you work full time it's hard to get much done on the days you work because you feel so sapped at the end of the shift. At least I do!

This morning I've split my time between doing laundry and getting more cuttings from my mint garden. I woke up at around 7 a.m. feeling well-rested and wanting to get busy. Now it's a little after 8 and I've accomplished a couple of things I had in mind to accomplish. The laundry will take some time, but I can do other things in between loads.

Yesterday, I wrote some blog posts in LiveWriter that I can upload when I get to a wifi hotspot. They'll keep till then.

I guess at my age it may be time to really look at term insurance. Monday was Younger Daughter's birthday and I have something for her. I can't believe my baby is 22 now! That makes me feel really old and I don't want my children burdened with bills when I pass on.
