Power outage

Weirdness. The main house breaker has been kind of wonky lately, but then it seemed to settle down and do ok. Well, a few minutes ago the power in part of the house went out. I checked the breaker and tried to flip it. That did no good at all.

I still have power in part of the house, so I ran an extension cord (big orange kind) into the bathroom and plugged it in. Then I plugged a power strip into that so I could have power to my wireless router and my laptop. That's the only reason I am online, since the affected area in the house is the living room and part of the kitchen.

I contacted Son-in-law by phone and told him the problem. I didn't know if he was at work or at home, but he did say he'd be right out.

It sure is quiet in here!
