Camping - wildflowers
What you've just viewed are some pictures I took of wildflowers that were near our campsite.
In our beautiful state, you can find color almost any time of the year. Even in late September, which is when I went camping, there are flowers blooming everywhere. The state park was no exception and had a wildflower garden you could stroll through. When we saw it, there were a few small flowers and lots of native grasses. Still, it was lovely.
Later in the week, however, while on an outing, Sis and I discovered a natural stand of wildflowers just beyond a boat ramp, a little around the bend in the river. It was a riot of color and we were lost in our own world, taking pictures and talking about this beautiful surprise. It was obvious that no cutting tools or mowers had sullied this site.
