This and that

It's late as I post this, but I wanted to get a little writing done before I turn in for the night.

The daytime temperatures here have still hit over 90 every day, but at least the overnight temperatures are nice - 70s. That keeps the air conditioner from running too much at night, and I keep the setting on it high enough in the daytime to stay comfortable yet save some energy.

I'm not sure what my work schedule will be for the month of September, but I've already requested vacation days for the latter part of the month so I can join Mom, Sis, and Brother-in-law on a nice fishing trip. We have beautiful lakes and rivers in our state for all kinds of sports. I enjoy fishing, but this time we'll be trout fishing. I've never been! I'm getting pretty excited about the prospect. Just need to get a trout stamp for my fishing license and borrow some waders, then I'm set to go.

A friend I work with says she thinks they have some waders. She's going to check for me. I hope they do otherwise I'll be wading out in the cold river in my jeans. Either way, I'm going to learn how to trout fish and I can hardly wait!
