Boo on winter weather

I'm sick of winter weather! We just had a bit of a snow event (nothing sticking, thank goodness), but the bitterly cold temperatures are really getting to me. I'm staying warm enough inside but I do have to go out from time to time to walk the dog or go to work. That's when I really get miserable.

From what the National Weather Service says, we are in for more wintry precipitation over the weekend and into next week. Ugh!

I suppose I should count my blessings, though. The mid-west has experienced the worst snow and ice in decades. Thousands are without power. Motorists have been stranded. It's just awful and I really feel bad for them all.

Still, I'm so very ready for spring. Last week we had temperatures even up to 74 degrees. Talk about giving me the gardening bug! I was busy online, looking at seed sites and planting imaginary gardens all over the place.
