Family gathering Saturday

I'm looking forward to a family gathering tomorrow. It's one where we celebrate the birthdays of family members born in February, and there are several of them. Sis, brother-in-law, and Mom will be there along with lots of nieces and nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews, and assorted friends and acquaintances. My nephew and his wife are hosting the gathering.

They have a nice place and there's plenty of room outdoors for the children to run and play. The weather is supposed to be pretty nice, with temperatures around 64 in the afternoon and mostly sunny skies. I'm sure we'll be seated everywhere, including out on the large front porch.

I'm hoping the musically gifted family members will show up with instruments and play together for a while. That always adds a lot of fun to gatherings like this.

Of course, there will be lots of pictures taken. Just about everyone comes armed with a digital camera to functions like this, including myself! There will be photos of everyone, from babies to Grandma (Mom), the array of food set on glass tile counters, the outdoors as kids play, and the big family shot that Sis takes at every family gathering.

I'll share pictures at some point next week, when I get them all uploaded and edited. It will probably be early in the week because I love sharing these things as quickly as I can before the memory moments are lost.
