More about crafts

I noticed that a lot of the craft vendors catered to bikers and truckers at the Grape Festival. I think that's mainly because there isn't much else going on in that area of the state. Fort Smith is less than 40 miles away and there's a sizeable truck stop at the exit where you get off to go to the festival.

Add to that the fact that this is in the more mountainous region of the state, where there are a lot of bikers living, and you can imagine the demand for both biker stuff and trucker stuff. I saw a lot of guys, and gals, in do-rags and leathers, walking around enjoying the festival. I also saw a lot of do-rags and leather items for sale, as well as items which might be useful in a truck. Neck coolers abounded.

Of course, there were also handmade jewelry booths, clothing booths, bread and jam booths, and other items of interest. I didn't buy anything, but it was interesting to look at these things.
