I'm in better spirits today. I went to church this afternoon. It was their 23rd anniversary day so there was a music group there that was a real blessing.
They also had a catered meal afterward that was very nice and very southern - catfish, hushpuppies, and all the fixin's.
A dear lady there that I'd gone to church with years and years ago at another church, lost her husband recently, too. Just 2 weeks ago. She's a bit elderly and he was very sick for a long time, but it's still hard on her. I hugged her and offered what words of comfort I could. I know there just aren't any good words to say, even if you've been through something like that yourself.

Ann: Glad to hear you're in better spirits today. And what a blessing that music group must have been. I find that when I'm at a low point, music really helps to soothe me. I'm continuing to pray for you for the things you're dealing with now, and for the things to come. Lizzy.
