Thursday noonish

Jer 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
KJV

Isn't that a wonderful promise from the Lord? We can know that no matter what our circumstances, He has plans for a peaceful end. He is glorified when, in our worst trials and darkest days, we receive abundant blessings. Blessings the world cannot explain away with logic, because they just don't come in a logical manner. Then, even the heathen can see that only through and by God can these blessings occur.

This is a promise I can cling to.

Today, I've tidied around the house, done a little laundry. I need to work on the knitting board and finish a shawl I've started. I'm making it with some beautiful crimson chenille yarn that Cass' mother sent me. See what I mean about blessings?

My thoughts are also occupied with the imminent birth of Cass' baby. It's so exciting to know about new life entering the world - life that will be directed toward God.
