Thursday is car day
My sis, mom and brother in law plan to be at the car lot in the morning around 9. That means I need to try to get there before they arrive so I can have a bit of a look around and see the potentialities for another car for us. I don't want to be hemming and hawing when they get there.
Time is of the essence in the morning as I need to make a decision about which car, then I'll need to purchase the insurance, get it assessed, pay last year's property taxes, pay the sales tax, and get a tag on it. Yikes! That's a lot to get done and still be to work by 3 when you consider a couple of those places are government offices and we ALL know how it goes in those.
Brandon will get up early, too. I will need him to drive the van back home again. There's not much point in going to buy a car if I don't have a contingency plan for getting the van home, is there?
Anyway, I'm hoping for something comfortable and economical. I'm getting old and I don't want to mess with driving junk anymore. Too risky. It can break down on the side of the road and there I'd be - stuck.
