Older but still learning

That's me. Older but still learning. I never would consider myself a tech-minded person, but I've noticed over time that I'm learning a lot more about the internet and computers than I really give myself credit for. However, I'm still not just real knowledgeable about search engines and exactly how they work. I don't know for sure how your website gets listed near or at the top of a search engine like Google.

But since I do some internet business, such as book selling, it would behoove me to learn more about it, wouldn't it? Perhaps if I read and study more at SEO Blog, I can learn what I need to know.

I can learn the terminology. Words and phrases such as Paid Search (Pay Per Click or PPC Advertising), Natural Search (Search Engine Optimization or SEO), Pay Per Call, Affiliate Marketing...these are definitely things I need to know in order to make the fullest use of my website, blogs and auction sites I use. Yes, this blog has tons of valuable information and I can learn much from it.

Perhaps, if I do my homework well enough, I can eventually stop working at McDonalds and just engage in internet business. The key would be to get more involved in studying what this blog site has to offer so that I can optimize my business online and get more hits from the general public.
