New phone
I did it. I got a new phone. I needed it, though. I don't feel safe when I'm driving alone unless I have a cell phone with me. What did I do before the advent of this piece of technology?
I'll tell you what I did - I was scared a lot. What if I had a flat on a dark, lonely stretch of road. What if the car broke down or something worse happened?
Anyway, I like having the security of a cell phone with me at all times. I also like it that my kids both have one. Even my sis and Mom have one.
Bear in mind, this cell phone is the only phone I use. The land line is hooked up to the computer and you can't even dial long distance or 1-800 numbers on it even if you hook up the phone. I use it strictly for the modem. But if I could get wireless internet, I'd lose that phone line in a heartbeat.
The reason for the new phone is in a previous post, but to remind you here: I bought airtime with my other carrier but so far they haven't reactivated my phone. I get so far through their website and hit an error page. I will have to call them on my new phone, now, and see if the old phone can be reactivated. Then I'll use the minutes and days up on it and probably never activate it again.
