Baby wash cloths
Since I finished knitting the dish cloth, I thought I'd try baby wash cloths. I made one and started another one. Now, keep in mind I don't know a lot about knitting as yet, especially how to say what I did, but here goes:
I used size 5 plastic knitting needles and I cast on 25 and knitted back and forth till the cloth was about as long as it is wide. I made it from cotton yarn.
I'm going to try to get at least three of these made to add to a baby gift for a co-worker at McDonald's. Her shower is on Nov. 12, so that means I need to get things together for it.
I'm still planning to also knit a few dish cloths for people. I always have liked the hand knitted ones. They are soft and absorbent, yet nubby enough to scrub dishes with. I figure others will like them, too.
