Correction
I don't go do the ServSafe class on Tuesday. I do it on Wednesday. Big deal, huh? Well, that gives me an extra day to study the book and hopefully finish it.
I told Brandon about the only thing I was having a problem with was the names of germs and diseases. He said to just try to memorize the first syllable or so and relate it to the food that it contaminates and the illness it produces. I'll try that. He passed the ServSafe class handily, so he probably knows what he's talking about.
Once I'm certified in this area, the certification lasts for 5 years. After all the formal training is done for McDonalds, I should be able to run just about any sort of restaurant and keep things safe and running smoothly.
