Speaking of getting a house...

I'm building a house in my own mind, I guess, a little at a time. But eventually maybe some of these daydreams will become reality.

One thing that's important is the right kind of lighting and accessories for rooms like the living room, dining room, or den. When I think of a house, I imagine a sort of cabin or cottage. Not a mansion. But even in a humble abode, certain lighting would really set the mood of the room. For instance, wall sconces to match a chandelier, especially one that looks like antlers, would be a wonderful way to highlight a rock fireplace in a roomy living room or den. I can just imagine myself relaxing in front of a warm, crackling fire. I can see myself with a loom over to one side for weaving blankets, rugs, or other fabrics. My mind's eye looks up to the rustic chandelier that casts its gentle light down on the room and envelopes me in a warm glow akin to candlelight.

Yes, indeed, I do have some definite plans in mind! And it looks like I have a starting place for some of those plans as well.
