Birthday meal news
I had a large day yesterday for my birthday.
We left here around 9:45 AM and headed to the bank so Brandon and I could get our paychecks cashed. We talked to Elizabeth on the phone and agreed to meet at Chili's as soon as we got done at the bank.
Keep in mind, the bank and Chili's are in two different towns, but the towns are only about 11 miles apart so it's no big deal.
We got to Chili's around 11 or so and ordered our lunch. I gotta tell ya, they bring out HUGE amounts of food per individual. I got Mount Fajita - not what they called it but that's what it was! I wound up bringing most of it home in a carry-out box. Brandon brought a lot of his lunch home, too.
That is the first time I've ever eaten at Chili's and I'll probably go back. The food is so yummy, but you can't stick to a diet and eat there, that's for sure!
Josh paid for the whole ticket, which added up to about $66 for the four of us. High priced food, in my opinion, but I guess considering the enormous amounts they serve, it's probably about right for dining out in a full-service restaurant.
