One of my dreams is to own a business. This is a great country we live in and I truly believe anyone with the perserverence and imagination can create a niche for themselves even if it's on a small scale. And who knows, that could grow into large scale business. The creator of Mrs. Fields began in her kitchen. Aromatique began her business by packing up potpourri, one bag at a time in her kitchen, and now she has world-wide sales and a large factory in Heber Springs, AR. Even Peter Belisi began by selling one man's necktie at a time until he built a thriving business.

I look at folks like those and know I can do this, too. The thing is to find my own unique niche and a demand for a product. This might mean extra hours spent at home, developing a line of something. Maybe jewelry? I make my own jewelry and sometimes give it as gifts. I have a knack for it and the tools for simple things right here on hand. What I need to do is dedicate hours to just doing that and developing some trendy or classic styles.
