Stepping in a new direction

I just signed up and paid for my very own domain. This is totally new to me so I hope I can get lots of help from friends who have already walked that trail before me. My blog won't change as far as I know since I've learned I can hook it to the domain name and nothing is supposed to be any different. The only difference may be the URL you use to access it. I'll be sharing that with you as soon as everything's set up and I know more about what I'm doing.

I do know I'll still be pretty easy to find. I set my domain name as homeschoolzoo.net, but don't go looking for it yet. It has to go through an internet name search and be listed with Google, all that sort of stuff, before it's actually "out there".

I'm hoping I can hook all my blogs to that same domain. If so, that'll be great and they'll all be easy to find. I have them listed over there in the right sidebar. ~~~>

As I go along, I'll post updates here when I find out new things.

It has been nice reading your blog. I am going to try your chicken. We love chicken, but we need to cut down on red meat in any case. I am looking for link exchanges on blogs. Everybody seems to have them I must be doing something wrong. I have a blog on gardening which include our excursions in the dry wild habitat of South Africa and Namibia aloegardenwilderness.blogspot
and a blog on cats but more on their doings like talking, 6th sense and so on felinetalk.blogspot
    please leave a note

I'll link to you tonight sometime.

As for chicken, it's a good meat to use. One thing I'd say, though, is that bison meat is actually lower in fat, calories, and cholesterol than skinless chicken breasts. If you can get it, it's a much better choice than almost any meat choice you can make.

Good luck, Ann! I have my own domain, too and still feel like a fish out of water at times. Cass is a great resource!
