No work again

We could probably get down the hill alright today and go to work. But the problem would come when we try to come back up the hill tonight, after the road refreezes.

McDonald's isn't too happy with us right now. Can't really blame them, but it's insane to think about driving on the icy road that leads to our house. The highways and city streets may be just fine, but that's not where we live and they all knew it when we started working there.

The fact is, the highways and bridges will likely refreeze tonight, too, so the whole trip home would be hazardous. I guess they haven't seen wrecks on icy roads or think it doesn't happen around here. It does, and it's in the news how many wrecks occurred just after the snowfall and since then.
