Work related

We were at the store longer than I'd hoped we would be tonight. Our GM was there doing the schedules, so that took awhile even with our help. Then, of course, there was nightly inventory and waste sheets to be done.

Several were allowed to go home early. That always makes it hard on the few who are left to get everything done, although I understand that it keeps our labor percentages down where they should be. Sometimes I think that if they'd let the higher paid employees take a long break near the end of the shift, then maybe the lower paid ones could stay for a little while longer and be assigned to some of the tasks that must be done before closing.
