Spring thinking

I've noticed that when I go to Walmart now, they've got summer things already put out to buy. Things like outdoor grills, patio furniture, and chimeneas are already on display along with weed whackers and lawn mowers.

While I do see some green grass beginning to sprout at my house, there's still a lot of winter left and the chances for more freezing weather and even precipitation are still there. However, all that stuff puts me in the mood to look at seed catalogs and potted plants while I'm shopping! I'm hoping to have a better crop of potted herbs this year, and maybe the grasshoppers won't swoop down and devour them all, like they did last year!

I'm really ready for spring time to be here. I'm not a fan of cold weather and all that it brings with it.
