Television reception

While I was at my nephew's house yesterday for the gathering, I noticed what looked like Cat 5 cable laying across his yard and going up a tree. He told me the story about it.

When they first moved in, he set up a TV antenna. He ran the cable out the window and started setting up the antenna at the back of the house, just as anyone would. However, it wasn't pointing in the right direction to get good reception, so he was outside turning it while his wife was inside coaching him which way it should point.

It seems that no matter which way he turned it, the reception was terrible. Finally, out of frustration, he threw the antenna and it landed in a tree. His wife shouted, "Stop right there! It's perfect now!"

So, the antenna is hanging from a tree limb!

I agree with the others...this is hilarious. Wish I'd been there when Son told you this one. Sounds like something our naturally comedic family would do, though.

That's a good one - especially knowing that it's true.

You have to know our family to understand that this kind of thing happens a lot...and we all get a good laugh out of it! Sis is right when she says our family is "naturally comedic"!
