Clothing gifts from kids

These are the tops the kids got me for my birthday. Brandon actually paid for them, but Elizabeth helped me select them.





These three regular tops were from Penney's, on sale, of course. In fact, they were all 70% off, which made the prices really low.















I'm obviously getting more color into my wardrobe. I tend to stick with neutral colors a lot, to be on the safe side, fashion-wise. But I'm beginning to learn it's ok to have some pizazz in my wardrobe.








In fact, the kids almost insist that I add more color when I go shopping. I still have my more neutral colored skirts, though, so all these tops will actually match with all my skirts.














The nice zippered sweater is from Kohl's. It was priced too low to resist! And, it's nice and thick, so should keep me very warm on these cold winter days.





I do insist on having the kinds of shoes I feel best in, though. With a bad back, it's probably not a good idea to wear platform shoes and risk injury. I think they're really cute; I just can't wear them.
