It wa a dark and stormy night

As if there's not enough going on around here to bother my mind, what with having to move, tonight we're under severe thunderstorm warnings and flash flood watches.

It's thundering right now and has been raining off and on all day. The temperature outside is warmer than it was earlier, which is a sure indication of stormy weather when it drops again. I've been busying myself with final packing of boxes, but I'm a weather worrier and will not feel at ease until all this passes over.

If the power goes off, I can still use my laptop for a couple of hours. Of course, I've got my cell phone all charged up already.

Brandon is working in the Other City tonight. If this all passes before he has to drive home, I won't be so worried about him. He's closing there and doing inventory, so it will probably be 1 or 2 in the morning before he's done.
