Moving bonus

We got a lot of stuff moved to the storage unit today. I started on my own at around 3:30 AM and got two loads done before Brandon got home from working all night at the Other City McDonald's. He was very sleepy when he finally got here, so I let him sleep most of the day while I took three more loads to the unit. I'm just using my car, so it doesn't hold a lot of boxes, but I still got a lot done.

When Brandon got up, we took another load in both cars and he went to get us some burgers for supper. He had made plans to go out with friends tonight, so after we ate the burgers he got showered and left.

Elizabeth and her boyfriend came over and helped me get two more loads to the unit, using both my car and his pickup truck. When we got back from the first load, there was a strange car in my driveway. It turned out to be a guy who was wanting to buy the non-working vehicles here. He made an offer and I countered it for a little more, and we made the deal. He'll come by tomorrow and start picking them up. He paid me cash, which is always a nice bonus.

I think a truckload or two of furniture plus the clothes will be all there is left to move here. I'm thinking I'll have to rent a truck to get the furniture moved since we can't seem to round anyone up who has a full size pickup truck that can pull a trailer.
