Tax paid

I got my tax vouchers sent off today, finally. I sent off the state tax and fully paid it. I paid a part of the Federal tax. This means my tax rebate will be reduced by the amount I owe later when those checks are sent out.

I've been mulling over some ways to prevent having to pay in next year, per the advice of my tax preparation person. I'm not brave enough to try to figure my taxes myself, and I'm sure I would have owed more if my preparer hadn't alerted me to some legitimate, allowable deductions associated with the ways I make money online. These are ways that are common to anyone who has a home business, although some expenses are peculiar to online operations.
