Christmas shopping?
I really need to think about Christmas shopping. I can do a little shopping here and there, and not have to spend so much all at once later on.
I like to do some of my Christmas shopping online so I don't use the gas in my car. It's to where it's cheaper now to actually pay shipping costs on a lot of things, like Amazon books, than it is to travel into town and shop at local book stores. Not only that, but by shopping online, I can shop when I want to instead of only during regular business hours. With the way my schedule works, that's a very convenient thing!
I suppose I should start my Christmas list and keep my eyes open for deals online and locally so I can purchase the best possible gifts without breaking my budget.

I have been thinking about paying shipping versus spending money on gas, and I, too, have come to the realization that it is cheaper to have things shipped than drive 20-30 minutes to pick up something. I used to always hate to pay to have anything shipped, but am now trying to get over that way of thinking and start to order more on-line, too.

I have shopped online in the past and had a really good experience. It's kind of fun to see what the UPS guy brings, too! Some places will offer great shipping deals from time to time so that the shipping cost winds up being very low.

I'm doing some online shopping now. And, I love it primarily because of the convenience of doing it at the comfort of your home or office.

I completely agree. We are blessed to be able to shop online these days and thereby save some of our hard-earned money that would normally go to gas in our cars.

I much prefer buying online also because the deals are good and there are many unique gifts ideas available. It can make Christmas shopping so much easier. I miss the "touch before you buy" thing but I certainly don't miss the crowded streets, traffic jams and horrendous queues.
