Job update

I can't believe I've let so much time go by without posting. But, I've been really busy at work since becoming the General Manager of the store. I've put in some extra hours due to the shortage of management staff there to the point that a good pair of Clarks shoes would be looking pretty scrappy by now!

I still enjoy my job, though, and have really embraced it as a career and not just a J.O.B. I think that's showing, too, by the way the crew and other managers seem to enjoy working with me. I now feel like I'm "in command" there.

I was a little apprehensive at first, wondering if I really knew enough to run a store like that. As time has passed, though, I'm finding I already knew a lot more than I gave myself credit for, and I've quickly learned other things that are part of the position.
