HD radio

Now that I've got my HD television, I'm thinking a car with an HD radio would be a good idea, too. I'll eventually trade cars, though I'll drive this one for awhile longer. I really would like to look into an HD Radio Receiver for whatever car I wind up buying, though. HD radio is free, unlike satellite radio. I'm not really interested in signing up for anything else that costs me each month, so HD would be the perfect answer to getting clearer music in my car along with other benefits.

The next step would be getting the HD radio in my home. Then, when I hear a song I really like and want to own, I can use iPod tagging to save it to my list, then buy and download it to play on an iPod or my computer.

HD radio is everywhere, too. So if you want to know about Texas High Definition Radio stations, you can find that information as well as radio stations that broadcast in HD anywhere else in the country. Some are broadcasting in additional HD channels besides their original one. Of course, all of them are free to listen to so you don't have to pay a subscription for this kind of service.

I listen to my car radio going back and forth to work, and I often listen to the radio that comes in through my DVD player while at home. Having clearer, brighter sound in both locations, and for FREE, would be great!
